SAVE THE DATE!

We are honored to share that a Mass will be held on June 14, 2025, at the Chaminade College Preparatory Chapel to celebrate and remember Mike.

This past year has been incredibly difficult for so many, and the pain of losing Mike is still deeply felt. But in the midst of that grief, we believe it's just as important to take time to honor his memory and the remarkable life he lived.

Many were unable to travel to Washington, DC for Mike’s services, so this Mass—and the celebration that follows—will give us all a chance to gather, share stories, laugh (a lot), and continue the process of healing. If there’s one thing we all know about Mike, it’s that he loved a good party—especially if it involved a few beers and some heartfelt Irish toasts.

We’ll share more details as the date approaches, but for now, please mark your calendars and spread the word to anyone who would want to be part of what promises to be a meaningful and memorable evening.

Endowment Update

We’re thrilled to announce that the Michael D. Gill Scholarship has reached the required funding to become a fully endowed scholarship at the University of Dayton!

In an incredible testament to the generosity and love of so many, what we expected might take two years was accomplished in just six months.

To clarify: a scholarship is considered endowed once pledges and gifts total $100,000 — and thanks to your support, we’ve reached that milestone. However, the first scholarship award cannot be granted until the full amount is received. With that in mind, we welcome any additional pledges and, where possible, the acceleration of existing pledge payments.

While we’ve crossed the first major hurdle, our goal is to continue growing this scholarship so it can support even more students for years to come.
